Deleting your Remitly account isn't impossible. You just need to send an email or write a chat.

How to delete my account on Remitly

By email:

From the email address registered to your Remitly account, write a message to service@remitly.com; you can enter “Request to delete account” as the subject line. In the body of the email, write “I want to permanently cancel my Remitly account”, mention your membership number, your full name and date of birth.

By chat

It is also possible to delete your account instantly by accessing the Remitly web chat, which is available in Spanish 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

You must have your data ready: full name and surname, date of birth and the email address with which you created your account.

How to reactivate an account on Remitly

Even if you deleted your account, it's still possible to reactivate it. Send an email to service@remitly.com from the account you had associated with your membership, indicating your full name and date of birth. Why was my Remitly account blocked

If you can't access your Remitly account, it could be because you've entered the wrong password too many times or haven't performed two-factor authentication.

If when entering your password, it is indicated as wrong, you can click on Change my password and you will receive a message with instructions to follow to the email with which you created your account.

If this is not the case above, two-factor authentication may be failing. When trying to access your Remitly account, you must have access to your phone and email and respond to any notification that asks to confirm your identity.
