Verify your Identity
¡Unlock higher money transfer limits! Verify your identity in minutes and extend your limit to send up to $9,999 USD per month.
When you want to send more than $1,500 USD per day, Felix will ask you to verify your identity because we care about your security. We will ask you for an ID or your social security number, to make sure that it is really you who needs to send money and thus prevent fraud and other illicit activities, making sure that the funds do not end up in the wrong hands.
To verify your identity, just follow these simple steps or watch the short video below to learn how to do it:

- Go to Felix's chat and type "verify identity". Felix will automatically respond and ask you for an option to verify your identity. Click there.
- You will be directed to a secure link to verify your identity, click “Start”.
- There are two ways to verify your identity: with an official ID, regardless of the country in which it was issued, or through your Social Security number or ITIN. Click on the option that best suits you.
- If your verification is through an ID, you will need to identify which country it is from, or if it is a passport, license, INE, or any official identification and finally you will be asked to take a selfie to make sure it is you.
- If your verification is through your Social Security number, you will only have to write your first name, last name and Social Security Number or your ITIN.
And that's it! Once you have verified your identity, you can continue with your money transfers without having to worry about anything, since your information and personal data will always be safe with us.

When you are about to send money with Felix, you will now be able to see the limit of money you can send to your favorite store by selecting it from the options menu.
