How to fill out a check? Step guide
Here's a step-by-step guide to filling out a check correctly. Keep in mind that the checkbook must be delivered by the bank or entity where you have a bank account with funds.
Also remember that if you want to send remittances with Félix Pago, only payments by debit card, credit card or bank transfer are accepted as a means of payment. Checks are not accepted.
Step 1
Complete the date: first the day, then the month (both day and month are written with two digits) and finally the year (written with four digits).

If it's a check “the bearer”, you'll have to fill in the space with that name. Otherwise, you'll need to fill it with the Full name and last name of the payee of the check. Fill the remaining space in the line with a straight line.

You must fill in the spaces provided for Amount of 2 ways: there is a space to fill in the amount in numerals, and a line to complete the amount in letters. Both amounts must match. Fill the remaining space with a line, so that no one can fill it in with other numbers.

Endorse the check. On the back of the document, there is a space for endorsement. You will need to fill in the first space with the title “Property Endorsement”. In the next space you sign it, and finally complete it with the name, address, telephone number and signature of the payee of the check.

- Banking: in this case, the issuer of the check is the same bank, which will sign and pay the check.
